ResourceMFG Partners with Georgia’s Central Education Center
Mark Whitlock is the Executive Vice President of F&M Bank in Coweta County. Mark was "founding" CEO of Central Educational Center (CEC) during the start-up of Georgia's "model program for seamless education" that was developed by Chamber leaders, the Coweta County School System and West Central Technical College. Mark currently is Chair of the CEC Board of Directors.
In a collaborative effort with West Central Technical College (WCTC) and CEC are providing high school and technical school students will have access to cosmetology certification program as well as two national automotive technician educational foundation certificate programs.
CEC has also partnered with ResourceMFG, specializing in matching skilled and semi-skilled workers with manufacturers setting up a special office. ResourceMFG’s presence will be beneficial to both WTCS and CEC serving local manufacturers to increase both the supply and demand for skilled individuals in the local workforce.
