Palo Alto, California, USA - December 21, 2006 – In a strategic move, InApp announced the acquisition of Datec Systems, India a T&M Consulting Company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“With this acquisition, we are positioned to grow and double our capacity by the end of 2007. We are primarily a product development and projects company. This acquisition complements our strengths by bringing in staffing capabilities. The acquisition will help InApp become a full range software services company with both offshore and onsite presence.” said Mr. Amarnath Raja, CEO, India Operations.
InApp will now be able to meet customer and project needs with onsite teams. Datec has a strong Recruitment and Placement capabilities and have sourced technical experts from US, India and Southeast Asia for placement around the world.
Mr. Krishnakumar, CEO of Datec Systems will join InApp's Senior Management Team. He holds a Masters in Engineering from Texas University. He said “I am very pleased to join a group with a strong track record in delivering applications in Java and .NET platforms and their strong commitment to low cost application development. This is really a ‘can do’ company.”
