Heuristic Apps have submitted version 2.0 of their Virtual Rosary application and released 3 FREE apps for Ipod,Ipad and Iphones. Hoping for approval by Apple before Holy Week. The latest version provides many improvements and tweaks over previous versions and allows additional and seasonal content to be downloaded. The interface has had an iconic make over. An Inspirations module has been added allowing the user to view themed content and messages to inspire them through their day or through stressful moments in life. A lent network function integrates with the VirtualRosary Facebook APP or Twitter and allows users to share what they intend to give up for Lent.
The application contains a full international catholic calendar, with information on Saints and events, automatic mystery selection, a choice of rosary beads, prayers, confessions, images and artwork, bibles, bible study programs, faith tests , Inspirational thoughts and messages and more.
Unique to the Virtual Rosary is the integration of social networking allowing users to share on Facebook or Twitter with friends how much rosary or bible study they do each day, their Faith test scores and more. The app puts back fun into learning religion for the younger generations.
Additional prayers, art and Inspirational messages can be downloaded from within the application tailoring the app to your moods. Users not requiring social networking can disable it.
The application is being heavily discounted in the Itunes APP store over Holy Week, and many themed prayer packs have been created for users to download over this period.

PocketPrayers a FREE app available in the app store now.A prayer viewer that can download additional content.
PocketInspirations a FREE app available in the app store now that shows bible quotes in a themed manner with additional downloadable content.
PocketCalendar a FREE app pending approval that shows the catholic calendar with events, Saints and detailed information on Saints.
All modules are taken from the VirtualRosary which integrates all of the above and more with no advertisements.
Developed by graduates and students from the University of Caloocan in Manila the application supports English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. Support for more languages is planned. French is included in PocketPrayers.
More features for version 2 are already in development and the Philippine developers from the worlds second largest Catholic country have no shortage of new features and ideas to promote interest in their chosen Catholic faith further enhancing the social networking support and experience.
Supported devices include IPhone, Iphone4 , Ipod and Ipad via Itunes and the Apple app store.
An Android version in under development and Microsoft have expressed interested in a Windows Mobile 7 version.
