DogBreedStore.com is attached to Calendars.com. Both are retail websites, but DogBreedStore.com offers a lot of dog-specific paraphernalia, including mugs, clocks, and coasters with nifty looking dog pictures on them. However, their stuffed animals are the cutest portion of their ordering menu. They have something for nearly every breed imaginable: Beagle, Collie, Boxer, Bulldog, Doberman, German Shepherd, Golden and Labrador Retrievers, various Spaniels, the Chihuahua, and many more.
The specialty everything dog retailer has a cute blog, but it is also helpful. Earlier this month (October 2010) the blog site posted a few tips to effectively communicate with a dog in writing, but they also provide a short video, lasting about seven (7) minutes. For instance, often a dog will greet someone by giving a calming gesture, like a yawn.
The blog site has other neat posts, too, like how to change your dog’s behavior. The biggest lesson from this post suggests that the best way to change a canine’s behavior is to make sure that it suffers consequences for its actions and that it clearly understands the connection between the negative action and the negative consequence.
