It automatically identifies the manufacturer and type of inserted device. In auto-run mode, the high performance programmer starts programming automatically upon detection of chip insertion. This universal programmer tests EPROMs, TTL/CMOS logic IC devices and dynamic or static access memory devices.
This high performance universal programmer, model VP990, offers optional universal DIP, PLCC, QFR, TSOP, PSOP, SOIC, SSOP and SDIP adapters and can be connected to a computer via USB port. It features vector test capability, multi-array fuse map editor and a 48-pin ZIF socket with universal pin-drivers. The programmer supports standard file formats including JEDEC, INTEL (Extended) HEX, HOLTEK, EMC (CDS) and INTEL HEX16. It conducts poor pin contact check and manages 16bit and 32bit word split under Windows XP/2000/NT/Vista operating systems. Additionally, it offers eight languages including English, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Korean, Polish, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch.
