This durable, ultra-high frequency Gen 2 RFID tag, model 116406, operates in a frequency range from 860MHz to 960MHz and has a memory capacity of 96bit using an EPC compliant Impinj Monza chip. A 512bit EPC compliant NXP G2 chip is also available as an option. This tag can be mounted on any surface, including metal, which is usually an obstacle for the use of passive RFID tags. It has an IP68 protection rating and is encapsulated with HIPS/ABS/PC package allowing for robust operation and a long life span in harsh environmental circumstances. The requirements for high-speed tag reading are met through C1G2 protocol compliance. These features make this RFID tag especially useful for industrial and logistics applications.
