We are into the 25th year of its discovery but still a lot of awareness is to be created in the countries like ours. DNA bill will definitely increase the confidence on DNA Technology once passed in the parliament. The CEO was speaking in the valediction of the two days workshop at Hyderabad organised on the silver jublee celebration of discovery of DNA Technology.
The Country operations manager Mr Anukul Mishra said –We want to create the awareness of the DNA Testing and its applications in the country and will try making it reachable to every family in India. He announced the company will provide upto 50% discounts in all the DNA Testing services and cytogenetic testing services till January 2010.

We are planning to select some student scientists for presentation of papers to the upcoming IEEE conference in Barcelona, Spain as we did in 2007 by taking more than 10 students to Singapore for Pattern recognition conference.

BioAxis DNA Research centre has organized several conferences and training program for the police department of Andhra pradesh. The coordinator of the company said that BDRC has organized more than 20 workshops in the year 2009 itself with the help of different collaborations and now we are happy to get the support from the individuals and organizations. Some of students said in the last 3-4 years of our college we couldn’t make the concepts this much clear as we had it in this workshop. Some said we thought to quit biotechnology after our graduation but we are more confident and will pursue the career in Biotech only.
BDRC has the plans to organize the workshops with UP Police department, Bihar Police department and Orissa police department in near future.
