EventSetter.com has quickly doubled the total number of user-posted events to over 10000, since February of 2006. EventSetter.com has published over 5000 more user-posted events, in a span of just about four months, compared to the initial eight months for the first 5000 events. These latest 5000 events were published in half the time of the first 5000 events, demonstrating the increasing popularity of the service EventSetter.com offers.
With the addition of these latest 5000 events, EventSetter.com has doubled the rate at which new events are being added. A total of 10000 user-posted events, in just a year’s time, demonstrates EventSetter.com is a popular and effective site for the promotion of upcoming events. EventSetter.com continues to expect dramatic increases in the number of upcoming events posted at an ever-increasing rate to both the local city guides and the new Online Events section. This rapid increase in the number of published events indicates that EventSetter.com is becoming a more popular destination on the internet for promoting and finding local city events as well as online events. The recently added, Online Events section of EventSetter.com was not included in this count of events, as it is a separate section and has only contributed several event listings to the total number of events.
Currently, the cities in North America carry the majority of event listings for EventSetter.com. Although, North America is expected to continue its lead with the most event listings, more events are expected to come from Europe, Australia and New Zealand and the Online Events section.
