“HG Ventures”, International Business Machines Corp has ventured in a powerful market and giving it’s self further market share and expanding departments, they achieved this by signing new contracts with immigration and customs agencies worldwide, while at the same time utilizing existing technology that had been previously developed for spotting Las Vegas card counters.
“HG Ventures”, In deals worth about $1 billion over the next four years, IBM is helping the U.S., The United Kingdom, Australia and Poland figure out how to automate visa applications and to use software to look for suspicious applicants who may be hiding an unsavory past.
“HG Ventures”, Key parts of the software were developed by a small Las Vegas firm for casinos before IBM bought the company. The software helps when "you're looking for needles in haystacks” an IBM spokesperson said. This is an innovate venture which has be orchestrated at exactly the right time for the company.
