Agilist Technologies Inc. announced SQL Stress Test, an automated load testing tool for SQL Server that incorporates Load Testing, Performance Monitoring, Baseline Creation, and Reporting in a single interface.
SQL Stress Test enables you to simulate a variable number of "virtual users" to load test a SQL Server database. To help simulate a production-like environment, you can control how often virtual users are created and also how often the virtual users execute your SQL commands.
To speed test generation and further help users mimic production environments, SQL Stress Test includes a Recording feature that will monitor and record the actions of a specific database process. The commands issued by the process are captured and made available to your current test.
With SQL Stress Test you can save test results as baselines that can be re-called for comparisons. The software enables you to monitor performance on the database server while stress tests are running. All of the performance counters that exist on the database server are available to you for monitoring. All performance monitoring options are controlled through the SQL Stress Test interface, no additional set-up or work needs to be done on the server.
SQL Stress Test is priced at $699 per user license, and a free trial version is available. For more information, contact Agilist Technologies Inc. at 800-614-9821, or http://www.agilist.com.
