NewJerseyTalk.com is a new forum that allows people with a shared place of origin to communicate and share experiences
MALVERNE, NY, April 12, 2006 – Do you live in New Jersey? Are you from New Jersey and longing for a slice of home? In that case, a brand new website was recently introduced that invites people from New Jersey to come together and discuss the area. NewJerseyTalk.com is formatted as a forum, giving visitors the opportunity to have personal “conversations” and communicate directly with one another. It contains advice, recommendations and the chance for guests to simply get to know one another.
Founder of the website, Dominick Miserandino, a native New Yorker himself, has a personal appreciation of the area. “New Jersey is often under-appreciated. It manages to maintain the quintessential ‘New York’ sensibility, but also differentiates itself by its primarily suburban atmosphere. There are many truly beautiful areas of the state.” He continues, “New Jersey offers everything from beaches and scenic parks, to first-rate colleges. It was our attempt to pay homage to a great state and to present all of this information from the viewpoint of those who know the area best. So we decided that a forum environment would truly allow us to achieve this goal.”
People new to the area may also find the website to be a useful resource. Visitors can share their ideas on the best places to live and can also find and provide useful information about school districts. If guests to the site are feeling a bit more jovial, they can visit the thread in which natives swap jokes or contemplate whether or not there is in fact a New Jersey accent.
Threads are categorized under Welcome, The Shore, Restaurants, Living, Schools, College, New Jersey on TV, Sports, Jokes, New Jersey Accents, Activities and General.
