Gorham, Maine -- February 9, 2006 -- The PineCrest Bed and Breakfast joins with non-profit organization, Hospitality for Habitat
in an effort to raise needed funds for the Habitat for Humanity Foundation.
From May 1 to May 18, 2006 PineCrest will be lowering guest room rates to half for all bookings during this two week period.
Guests participating in this offer will enjoy all of the usual gracious hospitality of the inn,
including a delicious full gourmet breakfast each morning of their stay.
In exchange for the generous discount, Inn guests are asked to donate by written check $25 per night to Habitat for Humanity.
Hospitality for Habitat is sponsored by the Maine Innkeepers Association, in support of Habitat for Humanity,
which helps provide homes for low-income families. Since it's formation in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has
built and rehabilitated more than 150,000 houses with families in need,
becoming a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing.

They are not alone in their thoughts, as many other inns and bed and breakfasts throughout Maine are
participating in the effort to support Habitat.
