2008 has started off with our best month ever. Properties to let have come in and been let within days.

2008 has started off with our best month ever. Properties to let have come in and been let within days.

Whilst reading the stories of doom and gloom about Britain going into a recession since December at move on rentals we couldn’t wait to bring in the new year. 2008 is going to be a good year for the rental business. Prices for renting will increase and more people will be renting than ever before and for longer.

However landlords need to be aware of new legislations in the UK rental market. In April 2007, we saw the introduction of the Tenant Deposit Scheme. The next legislation coming in on the 1st October 2008 will be the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), where all rented properties will be graded A-G with the most efficient homes in band A. There are grants to help Landlords insulate their properties for free and now is the time to perhaps look into these schemes.

At Move On Rentals we believe in keeping up to date with legislations and our experienced staff would be happy to discuss the options with you.

So if you are thinking of renting or letting in the Poole and Bournemouth area ring Move on Rentals on 01202 711169.
