Cryptek participates in CWID 2005

Cryptek, Inc., a leading provider of certified and accredited network security solutions, today announced its participation in this year’s Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration 2005 (CWID 05) under Trial IT-6.37, Coalition Partner Mobile Command Center (CPMCC).

Under the CPMCC trial, Cryptek will demonstrate the ability to support the rapid deployment of secure, flexible, medium- and high-bandwidth network infrastructures across a diverse pervasive computing environment. The CPMCC solution provides enhanced communication capabilities for Coalition and Homeland Security (HLS)/Homeland Defense (HLD) agencies, creating dynamic secure communities of interest (COI) assuring the right information gets to the right person at the right time in a mobile event driven operational scenario.

Cryptek’s CPMCC trial, with support from integration partners Future Technologies and Global Electronics Ltd., will demonstrate the fusion of several companies’ COTS technologies in order to meet trial objectives. These technologies include Redline Communications 802.16 compliant WiMAX radio providing instant establishment of high-speed extended wireless networks and IBM’s Websphere Everyplace Connection Manager (WECM) allowing the rapid deployment and support for information access and collaboration services across both fixed and mobile client devices. Both of these technologies are tightly integrated with Cryptek’s Common Criteria EAL-4 and FIPS 140-2 certified products, delivering the dynamic client and event driven security and access controls demanded in both Coalition and Homeland Security driven COIs.
