The Buckinghams Coming to Norfolks Infinity Music Hall May 2nd
Chicago band The Buckinghams return to Connecticut, for Intimate Concert at historic Infinity Music Hall and Bistro, Sat., May 2nd.
Bryan, TX, March 23, 2009 -- The Buckinghams return to northwest Connecticut in concert on Saturday, May 2nd. The intimate setting of the newly renovated Infinity Music Hall, built in 1883, on Route 44 in Norfolk, affords every seat in the house a “front-row” vantage point. The Buckinghams, who began their careers in Chicago, IL, are best known for Top 10 hits including “Kind of a Drag,” “Hey Baby, They’re Playing Our Song,” “Don’t You Care,” “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy,” and “Susan.”
The million-selling recording artists, named by Billboard Magazine as “The Most Listened to Band in America” in 1967, will perform their chart-topping 60s hits plus other Solid Gold favorites, including their latest single, “We Were Living a Dream.” The Buckinghams’ latest releases on the Fuel label include a live album, “Greatest Hits—Standing Room Only” and studio album, “Reaching Back.” The Buckinghams’ concert coincides with the opening of Infinity Bistro at the Music Hall, offering creative cuisine before the concert.
