The Training Foundation to open second Training Centre

The Training Foundation has announced plans to open a further dedicated training centre to accommodate rapidly growing demand for training programmes with the mission of empowering everyone involved with training and developing others.

When making the announcement Director of Corporate Development Adrian Snook revealed that growth in demand for places on both Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP) and Certified e-Learning Professional (CeLP) courses had significantly exceeded all forecasts during the first four months of 2004.

"We have been delighted by the rapid growth in demand for our programmes that we have been experiencing", Snook said. "This builds on long term growth trends that are in line with existing development plans. It is now necessary to increase our capacity to cater for this growing demand and I am delighted to announce our intention to open a second dedicated Training Centre to augment our existing facilities."

"Technology House is located a short distance from our existing training centre here in Coventry. The building has ample car parking, will have fully air conditioned training areas and will feature the very latest information technology and wireless networks to enhance the delegate experience."

"Plans are now well advanced and the necessary IT, building and refurbishment works are already approaching completion. We will be making further announcements about arrangements for the formal opening ceremony shortly."

It is anticipated that anticipated that the new centre will open its doors to its first delegates on 18th May 2004.
