Universal Music Group Artist Chamillionaire, Known for His Beefs, Takes His Late
Universal Music Group artist Chamillionaire is known for his beefs with other artists and labels, including his childhood friends, Platinum artists Paul Wall and Mike Jones.
However, Chamillonaire has taken his latest beef to a whole new level, to that which most other rappers, (with an ounce of commonsense) would have avoided like a dose of venereal disease.
You might question who he might well be beefing with now, and if you guessed that it was the local drug lord, gang banger, ghetto hoodlum, record label or fellow rapper, then you would be absolutely WRONG. Instead, Chamillionaire chose a beef worthy of Nickolodeon characters, Catdog, Sponge Bob Squarepants, or Jimmy Neutron. His target for attack is none other than a British Soccer Mom, who has taken Chamillionaire’s beef seriously and transcended from Soccer Mom to rapper, releasing a diss song on the self annointed Mixtape Messiah, that she wrote and performed herself.
This diss song has been applauded by many of those who have had their own issues with Chamillionaire, and even Chamillionaire’s own camp roared with laughter when they first heard soccer mom on the mic. Even the likes of Paul Wall, Mike Jones or 50 cent could not have done a better job at ridiculing Chamillionaire, than Soccer Mom did.
Soccer Mom takes off the kid gloves (no pun intended) and puts on the knuckle dusters to hit Chamillionaire where it hurts, his under developed groin – she makes several references to the size of his penis, or lack thereof, and chastises him like a naughty child throughout, all to a beat produced by Jay-Z, - although Jay-Z claims to have no knowledge of the beef.
For those not familiar with British euphemisms, Soccer Mom calls Chamillionaire a Jamrag, which in England is an insult that means a Used (bloody) Maxi Pad, and this is not the first time a Brit has made reference to a Jamrag, in fact John Lennon referred to a Jamrag on his album titled, Sometime in New York City, released in 1972 on Capitol.
Soccer Mom aka Shila Mitra, is a partner in BCD Music Group, a music distribution company based in Kingwood, TX, located 30 miles north of Houston. Chamillionaire gained recognition and garnered a following, whilst being independently promoted and distributed into major retailers, such as FYE, Wherehouse Music, Best Buy, Hastings and all major retail chains nationwide through BCD Music Group. In September 2005, Chamillionaire decided that he no longer wanted to use BCD Music Group as his independent distribution company due to personal reasons, and then proceeded to make slanderous statements against the very Company, that had exposed his music to the masses and gained him popularity. Chamillionaire’s behavior gave birth to the album entitled REVENGE of the JEW, by Jamrags with Shila Mitra being the executive producer.
Initially, Shila had not anticipated on releasing the song, but due to the amounts, of people who wanted to purchase a copy, she saw the opportunity to release songs that she had in her personal collection and give exposure to new upcoming artists that she firmly believes to be the next generation of stars in the hip-hop arena.
Although the album, Road Trip Volume 5 Revenge of the Jew, features the diss song, it is also richly laden with heavy weight Platinum artists, including Willie D (Geto Boys), Domino, Lil Flip, Memphis Bleek, Bootleg (of the Dayton Family) and Platinum producer Joe Traxx ( Lil Troy/Back to Ballin, Lil Flip/Underground Legend).
Special features include Tito 6 (Aftermath / Slim Shady) and K-Ruger (R.I.P.) signed to Def Jam, who had been due to release his debut album in February 2006 – unfortunately he passed away in September of last year, prior to taking his place in the spotlight.
A notable feature, is a hard hitting track from OG royalty, Meechie aka BLOA (STR8 Lace Records) and a close friend of Soccer Mom’s .
Surprisingly, OG Ron C (Chamilllionaires’ personal DJ) and also a good friend of Soccer Mom’s and the BCD Music Group family, donates a song from his own group The Wreckin Yard.
For an album that germinated from a diss song that was recorded for a laugh, this album could well be the surprise of 2006, and you wont have to wait long as it will hit stores January 24th 2006.
When Shila was asked on whether there were more diss songs to be made, she responded that it was the first time she had ever rapped and that it would be the last time. She said that her attentions would be focused on developing new artists, and that one of her latest artists she was working with was 50/50 Twin who has just left Chamillionaire’s, Chamillitary Entertainment to focus on his own career with the assistance of OG Ron C and BCD Music Group.
