The Blue Knights X once again sponsor a Poker Run for Lupus
The Blue Knights X are once again sponsoring the 5th Annual Poker Run for lupus, to benefit The Lupus Alliance of America LI/Q Affiliate, to be held on September 25th, in Eisenhower Park.
The Lupus Alliance of America Long Island/Queens Affiliate, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, is proud to announce their Fifth Annual Motorcycle Run, September 25, 2005, sponsored by The Blue Knights New York X, Applebee’s of Bellmore, Pepsi-Cola, and the Roadhouse Band.
Registration will be held from 9AM to 11AM at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, Parking Field 5. Registration fee $20 per biker and $10 per passenger. The first 500 registered will receive a pin; prizes will be awarded to the winning hand, a 50/50 raffle will be offered as well. BBQ Lunch and music begins at 12 noon.
Fund-raisers such as this event help the Alliance to continue to provide the best services for people with lupus and their families and fund novel exciting research.
