• Microsoft Dexterity. Former Great Plains Dexterity is currently the core of
Dynamics GP – it dictates special rules for MS SQL Server database objects,
DYNAMICS.DIC is the repository of the Dexterity business processes &
functionality. Microsoft Dexterity programming should be based on Microsoft
Dynamics GP Source Code, which is available to Microsoft Dynamics GP
customization partners.
• eConnect. Being very popular and easily understandable for Microsoft .Net C#,
VB and SQL programmer, however eConnect has certain restriction, such as
automated posting or SOP Order transfer to Invoice, etc. We provide advanced
tools to deploy eConnect with Microsoft Dexterity posting server, advanced SQL
Stored Procedures, allowing you to manipulate GP objects beyond eConnect
limitations
• Upgrade. This is challenging, especially if you have historical Great Plains
Dexterity customizations, ReportWriter reporting, VBA/Modifier forms and scripts
and Integration Manager integrations with advanced VBA scripting. Some of these
technologies needs to be analyzed and even revised. Typical scenario: replacing
Crystal Reports with MS SQL Server Reporting Services, moving Dexterity custom
logic to eConnect, etc.
