Travel enthusiasts have picked up on the site’s interactive format, which allows users to add their own stories and tips on locations in nearly all of the world’s major continents, as well as regions such as the Caribbean and Oceania. Cosmopolitan cities such as San Francisco, London and Tokyo are among the major destinations that have been covered on the new guide, as well as more adventurous locations in Costa Rica and Tanzania.
In addition to adding content on different cities and countries, users can also include information about specific attractions at each destination by inserting their own hyperlinks. Instructions for adding and editing content are given on the site’s home page.
TrekkerTime.com was first launched June 15 by Dominick Miserandino, author and editor-in-chief of online entertainment magazine TheCelebrityCafe.com.
