The Lupus Alliance of America LI/Q Affiliate is holding a special Dollhouse raffle from July 1st-December 1st. The house can be seen on the Alliance website at www.lupusliqueens.org as well as at their 13th Annual Walk Along for Lupus on October 15th in Eisenhower Park.

The Lupus Alliance of America LI/Q Affiliate is holding a special Dollhouse raffle from July 1st-December 1st. The house can be seen on the Alliance website at www.lupusliqueens.org as well as at their 13th Annual Walk Along for Lupus on October 15th in Eisenhower Park.
The dollhouse, valued at $1500 was donated by Jean Pollack of Bellmore and is handmade, with every detail painstakingly handcrafted. Some of the highlights of the house include an outdoor patio, a front porch, a fully equipped kitchen, curtains on every window, a fireplace and a beautiful babies room. The house is fully furnished
and will even come with Holiday decorations for the season when it is won on December 1st.
All of the proceeds from this raffle will go towards the Direct Patient Support programs The Lupus Alliance offers to those with lupus and their families in the local area. These programs include a children’s program, which offers an email support group, free trips for both children with lupus as well as children whose sibling or parent has lupus, and financial assistance for things like medical bills, or wigs which may be needed due to chemotherapy treatment, as well an adult program which helps adults with lupus with financial assistance and support.
